Our Plea to You…

The greatest expression of love in the history of the world.

Here is the most important eternal-life changing question you will ever answer:

Are you saved by God’s grace through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ? (Ephesians 2:8-9)

What was your immediate response as you read that question?

Was it an emphatic “yes” or a defiant “no?” “I’m not sure” or “maybe” would be considered a “no.”

There are actually people reading this right now who do not know Jesus as Lord and Savior—who have not completely surrendered their life to Him. Without Him, the only certain future is eternal separation from God in a fiery torment. This is God’s rightful judgment for sin, and no one escapes it—except by His grace through the blood of Jesus Christ.

It is imperative for you to understand that because of the curse and consequences of sin we are all born “not saved,” “lost,” without faith in Christ… condemned and without hope and spiritually “dead” in our sin. But God had a plan for the redemption of man ever before time began.

Your redemption and salvation are the very reasons you’re here on this earth—and why the entire universe exists. This isn’t just important; it’s eternal life-changing.

The Problem

Every person—except Jesus—was born into sin and is already under God’s condemnation.

Sin is thinking, saying, or doing anything that is unrighteous and displeases God or fails to bring Him glory.

God’s Word says, “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23). Wages means the price sin pays. One thing’s for sure, we are all sinners and we all need a Savior. Without the Savior, Jesus Christ, we all “shall surely die,” just like God promised Adam in the garden.

Through Christ we can be born again.

Because of His love, grace, and mercy, God offers you the only way out—redemption through Jesus.

Life is short—like a mist or vapor. There are no time-outs or second chances. You are not guaranteed another day, another heartbeat, or another breath. And you don’t know the day and time when you will die or when Christ will return. Both will happen and you better be saved before they do.

The urgency is real—your eternity is at stake. Don’t forfeit your soul.

The Solution

Here is the absolute, unchanging truth:

“There is simply no solution to the human problem of sin and its eternal punishment outside the grace of the one true and only living Creator God, and the perfect, sinless life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

Almost 2,000 years before you were born, God the Son—Jesus Christ—came to earth, lived a sinless life, and willingly gave Himself as the perfect sacrifice for your sins. He died in your place, bearing the penalty you deserved. On the third day, God raised Him from the dead, proving His victory over sin and death and offering eternal life to all who believe. Jesus is Lord, the one true, sovereign God with all authority in heaven and on earth.

The resurrection of Christ is the most important event in history—it is the foundation of our hope for eternal life. Jesus is our living hope… our only hope.

The Response: How God Saves

As you hear the gospel—the message of the greatest life ever lived and what He has done for you—the Holy Spirit provides sufficient light into the darkness of your sin, draws you to Himself, opens your eyes, softens your heart, and helps you understand the Truth that will set you free.

Salvation is given to all who truly repent and believe these truths in their heart.

Grace → Hearing the Gospel → Repentance → Faith → Justification → Regeneration.

The order is not fully known and it not even necessary to know the order, but all happen simultaneously… and the Holy Spirit orchestrates it all.

Here is what happens when you get saved:

  1. The Holy Spirit Leads
    • As you hear a clear presentation of the gospel message, He draws you to God, convicts you of sin, and opens your heart to the truth of Jesus Christ (John 6:44).
  2. You Repent and Believe
    • You turn from your sin and to God and place your full faith and trust in Jesus — who He is and what He has done (Mark 1:15)
  3. God Justifies and Gives New Birth
    • In that very moment, God forgives your sins, declares you righteous through the righteousness of Jesus, gives you eternal life, and makes you a new creation in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17), and you are indwelled by the Holy Spirit, sanctified and set apart for a special purpose by God.

The Urgent CallThe Plea

“Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.” (2 Corinthians 5:20).

My friend, I plead with you today — do not put this off. It is an eternal-life changing decision and eternity is a long, long time to be wrong. God loves you, but your sin separates you from Him, and without Christ, you will face His rightful judgment. Yet in His mercy, He sent His Son, Jesus, to die for you so you wouldn’t have to.

Just to be clear—nobody is born a Christian. You don’t inherit it from your parents, nor do you magically become one over time.

A Christian is not simply someone who believes in God. Even the demons believe—and tremble.
It’s not just joining and attending a church, following religious traditions, or even getting baptized in a group setting without even hearing about sin or grace or repentance or faith or surrendering your life to Jesus.

Everybody does not go to heaven when they die. Some are traveling on the broad road which leads to destruction. You won’t get there because you “think you’re a good person.” Only God is perfectly good—and perfectly good is the standard we all fall short of.

We do not become angels, we do not “get our wings,” and we will not be reunited with unbelieving family or friends in heaven.

There are not millions of ways to be saved—only one. Works can’t save you. Your family and friends can’t save you and you certainly can’t save yourself.

Salvation comes only by the grace of the one true, living Creator God—through genuine repentance (Acts 3:19) and saving faith (Romans 10:9–10) in Jesus Christ.

Right now, Jesus stands ready to forgive you, cleanse you, and give you eternal life .

The Bible says, “Now is the day of salvation” (2 Corinthians 6:2). You may never have another moment like this.

Please do not live here and leave here without Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Do not experience the second death. Too many people do.

If you are ready to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, trust Him as Lord and Savior, and receive His gift of eternal life, you can pray the prayer below.

Read the prayer first, as many times as you need to, so you will have a complete understanding of what it means and the commitment you must make and then pray it like you mean it; surrender to Jesus with a “broken spirit and contrite heart.” (Psalm 51:17)

It’s more than just feeling bad—it’s a heart humbled by guilt and ready to change.

The key is for you to recognize how horrendous your sin is against God and how you have wronged Him over and over, but to blame no one but yourself and then beg for divine forgiveness.

Remember, it’s not the prayer that saves you, it’s God’s grace that saves you and the Holy Spirit is always available to hear your plea, whenever that is and wherever you are, and He will lead you through every aspect of your transformation.

Pray this prayer as the Holy Spirit leads you:

Lord, have mercy upon me, a sinner.
I repent of my sins and surrender my life to Jesus, placing my faith and trust in Him for who He is and what He has done for me.
I confess that Jesus is Lord — the one true, sovereign God with all authority in heaven and on earth — and I yield to His will for my life. I believe with all my heart that He died on the cross to pay the penalty for my sins and rose from the dead so I may have eternal life.
Forgive me, Lord, cleanse me, fill me with Your Holy Spirit, and deliver me from the darkness of my sin.
Thank You for Your love, mercy, and amazing grace.
I pray this in the name of Jesus and for Your glory. Amen.

If you earnestly prayed this prayer, you have been transformed by the Holy Spirit and you now are a Christian, a born-again believer, a follower of Jesus Christ, a new creation in Christ, a beloved child of the one true and only living, Creator God and an heir to eternal life which is the nature of God.

There’s a new name written in the Book of Life! Praise God!

The Evidence

How will you know you are saved?

  • The inner testimony of the Holy Spirit giving assurance of your salvation and adoption into God’s family. “The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God.” (Romans 8:16)
  • The outward fruit of transformation—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22–23); the characteristics of Jesus.
  • A changed life—turning from sin and growing in Christlikeness (Matthew 3:8; 2 Corinthians 3:18). The visible proof of “real salvation” is a transformed life!

Remember, salvation only comes to those who repent and hear and believe in their heart these truths of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
