What is The Gospel Truth App?

[2 Minute Read]
[Skip Intro; after first time]
The Gospel Truth App is a unique and yes, God inspired way to share the absolute and indisputable Truth about the Good News of Jesus Christ, through everyone’s most personal channel… their mobile phone. Everybody’s got one and they use it religiously… so to speak, both day and night. It is the convenient means of 21st century communication.
It is designed only to bring Glory to God!
The ministry is based on Philippians 1:18, paraphrasing the Apostle Paul who said: “The most important thing is that in ‘every’ way… Christ is proclaimed.” We believe that using mobile technology to share the Gospel message in the 21st century is one of those “every ways” to connect the message of redemption and salvation to the lost, those who do not know Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord… and there are many.
It shares God’s plan of redemption with Bible base Truths to prepare minds and hearts to be used by the Holy Spirit so that “whosoever calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Acts 2:21 KJV)
The goals for this app are:
- To share the gospel with as many people as possible and bring Glory to God!
2. To present the Good News of Jesus Christ in a simple, consistent and powerful way, presented in the exact same way over and over to every person each and every time, no matter how many times it takes.
It is available only when you want it, but especially when you need it. In a world filled with endless lies, deception and confusion about Jesus, we’ll present the Truth, the whole Truth and nothing but the Truth, the Gospel Truth that will set you free. We will walk you through all the steps of salvation. All the information is cloud-based so everyone has access to it any time they choose, 24-7-365(6).
3. To use the app as a digital gospel sharing hub where the Good News can be shared peer-to-peer, exponentially, in a variety of ways: text, email, web link (URL) thegospeltruthapp.com, QR code and just about every form of social media, with just one click.
The goal is for the app to become an exponential digital Gospel planter. For example, if each person shared it with just three others and they each did the same, one becomes 3, 9, 27, 81, 243, 729, 2187, 6561, 19,683, 59,049, 177,147, etc. It even works with one person passing it on to just one more person and as long as people keep sharing, the sharing never ends.
The plan is not to replace the face-to-face gospel presentation, but to strengthen it, to learn God’s plan of salvation and to increase the boldness to share both digitally and in person, as well as being able to share it with more numbers than you will probably ever share with in person. Peer-to-peer sharing; people you know, who know you.
The app will include a host of great “clickable” sanctification resources, including a free Bible App for your phone and “Next Steps” for new believers.
If the app only leads just one person to faith in Christ, it will be well worth the effort. But the other great thing about the sharing process is it only takes “a spark to get a fire going.” A few who share with a few who share with a few more will lead to great growth. That’s why we want those who are already Christians to participate and become a part of what we pray will eventually be a massive ongoing “digital evangelism team.”
It is free and will be available as an app-like web application which does not need to be downloaded with The Gospel Truth icon saved to the home screen of your phone and it can also be downloaded at the Apple and Google app stores.
Phase one will be in English and Spanish and then we’ll go where God leads from there.
So the purpose of The Gospel Truth App is to share the absolute and indisputable Truth about the Good News of Jesus Christ.
And do not be ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation from His wrath and rightful judgment to everyone who believes by faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (adapted from Romans 1:16)

What is the Gospel Truth?

[Introduction: 2 minute read]
The phrase “the gospel truth” has been used through the years when someone is trying to convince another that what they are saying is “an absolutely and completely true statement” and they are using the biblical truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ as the standard by which they are claiming what they’re saying is true.
The word gospel means “good news.”
Truth is something that is “absolute and indisputable.”
The good news we are sharing is the Good News of Jesus Christ!
The Truth we are sharing is God’s Truth… absolute and indisputable.
God is the definition of Truth. Things are only true because He says they are. Many things are true, but there is only one Truth.
So the purpose of The Gospel Truth App is to share the absolute and indisputable Truth about the Good News of Jesus Christ and it is the Truth that will set you free!
These “Truths” contain the good news, but also some bad news, which makes the good news even more important.
First, the bad news...
When Adam disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden, he brought sin and death into God’s perfect creation and passed on his sin nature to all of mankind. Therefore we are all sinners, with no exceptions, and fall short every day of God’s perfect standard of righteousness… His glory.
“Sin came into the world because of what one man did, and with sin came death. This is why everyone must die —because everyone sinned.” (Romans 5:12 EXB)
“Everyone has sinned and fallen short [or is not worthy] of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23 EXB)
Because of God’s wrath and rightful judgment, the penalty for sin is physical and spiritual death and eternal punishment. Because of sin everyone is condemned to Hell when they die where they will be tormented day and night without rest, forever and ever. (See Revelation 20:10 for reference to Satan’s eternal punishment in the lake of fire)
“For the wages of sin (the price sin pays) is death…” (Romans 6:23 NIV; emphasis added)
All sinners must pay the penalty for their own sins unless someone pays the penalty for them. But God’s justice required that the substitute for man be a sinless human, because if the substitute had sinned, his death would only pay for his own sins. There was not one perfect, sinless human to be that substitute, but…
The Good News is this…
God, the Creator of the universe who makes the rules and sets the standards in the world He created, the one true God and the only living God loves you so much that even before you were born and yet already cursed with sin, sent His Son Jesus to be that sinless human substitute for all of mankind and to die on the cross, once for all, to pay the penalty for your sins so you wouldn’t have to. Jesus was God incarnate, which means God in human form, both God and man… truly God and truly human and without sin.
Jesus became mankind’s sinless substitute. His death to pay for other men’s sins would never have to be repeated. Once this substitute gave his life, it would apply to all mankind for all time!
“But God clearly shows and proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8 AMP)
Jesus was born just like every other human, lived a sinless life like no other human and then died on the cross for every other human and then God raised him from the dead.
And when Jesus walked out of that tomb on the third day, everyone had righteousness set to their account, which would make them acceptable to God and grant them eternal life in Heaven.
“… but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23 NIV)
But God’s righteousness does not become yours until you choose to accept His free gift of grace through faith in Jesus Christ by accepting Him as your Savior and receiving Him as your Lord (God and Master).
“Because if you acknowledge and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord [recognizing His power, authority, and majesty as God], and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart a person believes [in Christ as Savior] resulting in his justification [that is, being made righteous—being freed of the guilt of sin and made acceptable to God]; and with the mouth he acknowledges and confesses [his faith openly], resulting in and confirming [his] salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10 AMP)
Your earthly and eternal lives will be instantly and forever changed.
Note: There is a difference between accepting Jesus as your Savior and receiving Him as your Lord. Salvation is not just a momentary thing of accepting that Jesus has forgiven your sins. It is a complete transformation of how you live your life for Christ through the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It will require that God’s love and the power of the Holy Spirit be “loosed” in your life.
Thank you Lord Jesus!
The theme of The Gospel Truth revolves around the word “salvation” and you answering “yes” to one simple, eternal life changing question.
“Salvation is found in no one else but Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 14:12; emphasis added)
And that eternal life changing question is:
“Are you saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ?“
“Getting saved“, salvation, means freedom from the penalty of God’s wrath and punishment which comes only through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and by you accepting Him as your Savior and Lord.
Grace means that because of God’s love and His mercy, He gives you what you need and not what you deserve.
Faith is the belief, trust and complete confidence in who God is and what He has done for you through Christ.
Salvation comes only by the grace of God through faith in Jesus Christ.
“Maybe” is not an option for this important question. Answer either “yes or no.” You are either “saved” and you know that you know that you know you are saved OR you are “not saved” and still “lost,” without faith in Christ, condemned and without hope. There are eternal consequences for that and eternity is a long, long time to be wrong.
Is your answer “yes” or is it “no”?
We’ll return to this important question later.
But first, let’s examine some absolute and indisputable Truths, the “Truths” that will set you free.
Instructions: Take as much time as you need to read, re-read and understand each Truth before you go to the next one. Go slowly, scroll down and back up as often as you need to. These are certainly not all of God’s Truths, but they are some very important ones for you to consider.
The purpose is to fill your mind and heart with these Truths so that they can be used by the Holy Spirit for your salvation. The Truths will lead up to the presentation of the components of salvation and a plea for you to follow Jesus.
There will be some repetition of certain terms, phrases and scripture because they apply to more than one Truth, but repetition is one of the laws of learning and these Truths are some of the things you just simply can’t read or hear enough. The most common one you will see is to be saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ!

There is Only “One True God“
[Truth 1 of 12; 3 minute read]
“In the beginning, God created the Heavens and the Earth.” (Genesis 1:1)
The Bible reveals that there is a greater, supernatural, infinite Being, a mind who is not physical or material, an eternal spirit who has always been and always will be.
He is the Uncaused, First Cause of the Universe and all that is in it. He is the Chief Architect, Scientist, Engineer and Builder who in the beginning set all things into motion giving life to everything and establishing the laws of nature and his perfect standard of righteousness. The Universe could not have created itself. Nothing in nature comes from nothing, so there must be an initial cause, a first cause that wasn’t caused by anything else.
And since the universe began to exist as we all can plainly see, there had to be a cause and that cause must have always existed and His name is GOD, the Judeo-Christian God, Jehovah God, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. He not just called a god, His name IS GOD; He is the great “I Am.” This world is His creation and He gets to make the rules and set the standards for life in His world whether you like it or not. He is the one true supreme and sovereign God and He is the only living God. Besides Him there are no other gods. All the other gods were created by man and are false gods, presenting deceptions and confusion, in an attempt to keep you from salvation and Satan, God’s enemy, is the source of it all.
He is ONE God, revealed in three distinct persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit who each have vital roles in your salvation; God who purposed it, Jesus who accomplished it and the Holy Spirit who applies it. The Holy Spirit is fully God in the same way that the Father and Jesus are fully God. They were all here before time began, all involved in the creation, ONE God in three distinct persons; the Godhead, the Triune God, the “blessed” Trinity.
He is the God who said, “Let ‘Us’ (Father, Son & Holy Spirit) make man in ‘Our’ image,” You and all other persons ever born were created in His image and all those who will be born will be created in His image. (Genesis 1:27)
He is the God whose Truth inspired words are found in the 66 books of the Holy Bible, by far, the most read book in the history of the world, accurate “Truth” from Genesis to Maps. “All scripture in His Bible are breathed out of God’s mouth and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for the training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete and equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
He is omnipotent with unlimited power as evidenced by His creation of the universe, the virgin birth and the resurrection of Christ. He is omnipresent and is everywhere, all the time. He is omniscient and He knows everything… the past, the present and the future, all at the same time.
“He is the righteous God.” (1 John 3:20) He sets the standard for righteousness. It defines His character. “Every action God takes towards you will always be right, just, and honest.” (Psalm 145:17)
He is the Holy God. “In Him, there is not even the faintest trace of evil.” (Psalm 77:13)
He is the definition of Truth. Anything is true only because He says it’s true. He is sinless, blameless and timeless.
He is impeccably pure, wholly without fault, and uncompromisingly just. God cannot lie. He cannot make wrong decisions. He does not break His promises.
He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, from everlasting to everlasting. He is the God who “was” and the God who “is” and the God who “evermore shalt be!”
But of all the great things our God is (and there is much, much more), most importantly He is the God of love, of mercy and of grace. He is the definition of love and He clearly demonstrates and proves His love for you, that while almost 2000 years before you were even born, God Himself through His son Jesus, died on the cross, once for all, to pay the penalty for your sins and the sins of all mankind. No other god loved sinful man so much that He would die for him. No other god was ever raised from the dead to give you eternal life. There is no other living god.
The Truth is this: God is THE God with a capital “G” and His name IS God and there is not any person or any thing in this world that can change that or separate us from His love. God is who He said He was and is who He says He is and He will do what He said He would do. He keeps His promises and Jesus is our living hope for those promises which are sealed by His Holy Spirit.

Satan is The Enemy of God
[Truth 2 of 12; 2 minute read]
Satan, also called the Devil, is the enemy (the adversary) of God, who through unrighteousness in the form of self-generated pride as a high-ranking angel named Lucifer (which means Morning Star), rebelled against God and was banished from Heaven along with his army of rebel angels who assisted in the plot. They were thrown down to Earth and ultimately condemned to Hell. Satan wants to be God and he wants to do anything to keep you from God. He represents evil and everything that is un-Godly in this world which was caused by sin and that sin has made God’s perfect creation temporarily imperfect. One day it will be perfect again for eternity where Jesus will reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords and only those who put their faith and trust in Him will live there.
Satan was allowed by God to serve as His enemy. Where else would he have gotten his power if not from God, the creator of all things? God left him free to commit many crimes and pile on more condemnation for himself while he tries to harm others. Satan’s goal is to destroy man or make man destroy himself. He has influence over every living human. His purpose is to give man two clear choices of whom they will serve so that only those who accept God’s grace through faith in Christ will have eternal life in His presence.
Because of his pride Satan took on a task that he had no chance to win, but his chaos and destruction continues all around us on the Earth, but ultimately God’s justice will be served and Satan and all of God’s enemies (the Anti-Christ, the False Prophet and all those who reject Christ) will be thrown into the lake of fire (Revelation 20:10) where they “will be tormented day and night, without ceasing, forever and ever.”
Satan is the god of this world, the prince of the power of the air, a spirit with authentic power given to him by God to wreak havoc, who is now at work in the lives of those who are dead in their sins and separated from God. You see his influence all around us. Satan hates God because God is God and he (Satan) is not and he wants you to hate God, too. He and his minions, including Godless human beings in every walk of life, use lies to make bad things look good and good things look bad, to make right look wrong and wrong look right. Satan is the author of confusion who makes it difficult for you the discern the “Truth.” He will never tell you the Truth because he is evil and absolutely incapable of telling the Truth.
His strategy is simple… “make sin look normal and make righteousness seem strange. Do not be deceived. Every single one of us are being transformed either into the image of Jesus or into the image of this world.” It’s either Jesus or the world and it can’t be both at the same time. But if you are a born again believer, you are “temporarily in” this sinful world, but you are not “of” it, until that day when Jesus returns.
Satan is the enemy of God and has power and influence over all non-believers through constant lies, deceit and confusion and if you are not “born again,” you too, are the enemy of God. But because of His love for you, God has a plan for your salvation, but only through Jesus Christ.

The First Sin and the Fall of Man
[Truth 3 of 12; 2 minute read]
The curse of sin and death entered the world through Adam‘s willful disobedience. Although it was Eve who sinned first after being deceived by Satan who appeared to her in the form of a talking serpent, it was Adam who bore complete responsibility for sin because God had commanded him even before Eve was created: “You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” That death would be both physical and spiritual. Adam and Eve were created immortal, in the image of God, so physical death made them mortal. Because of sin our mortal bodies will die too, but our spirits are eternal and will live forever, either in Heaven in the presence of God or in Hell, to be eternally punished for our sins.
God’s commandment to Adam was not a suggestion.
The name of the tree carries a great significance in a world that was created “good.” It was man’s first choice between two things, one of which God had strictly forbidden. Satan deceived and confused Eve: “Can it really be that God has said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden?’ You certainly will not die! For God knows that on the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God, knowing [the difference between] good and evil.” (Genesis 3:3-5 AMP). The lie Satan told was that Eve would become like God. She would not. Both Adam and Eve willingly disobeyed God and immediately found out the difference between good and evil, the good they lost and the evil they found, as would all of mankind.
The penalty for Adam’s sin was the wrath of God, which included a curse on mankind, a rightful judgment where every human being born with the blood of Adam, including you, would be born into sin and separated from God and without a relationship with Him.
There was no sin and no evil in the world until the first man rebelled against God’s authority. God knew that Adam would sin, but His perfect plan included redemption.

The Curse and Consequences of Sin
[Truth 4 of 12; 2 minute read]
In the Bible sin is defined as breaking God’s law, an act of disobedience or rebellion against God. It is also described as “missing the mark” of God’s holy standard of righteousness. At its core, sin reveals that humanity considers sin more desirable than God. In the midst of sin, our selfish desires take precedence over his goodness. In our feeble minds, sin becomes our top priority no matter what God thinks about it.
But simply put, sin means doing anything that does not please God… not saying and doing things you should say and do, but instead, saying and doing the things you should not say and do; un-Godly things, sinful things. They either please God or they don’t; they are either Christ-like or they’re not. More confusion. Satan… again.
Just think of the many things you do that if you just asked yourself, “Does this please God? Is what I’m saying and doing right now pleasing to God in any way?” And if the answer is “no” and you do it anyway, then you must understand His wrath. Sinful man has a heart problem and what’s missing from his heart is Jesus.
Our sin provokes God’s wrath, a powerful and just anger. When we sin it not only angers God, but it also places us under His rightful judgment. And sin has a penalty which must be paid for by the sinner and the “wages” that sin pays is death and eternal punishment. God’s justice.
“Now the practices of the sinful nature are clearly evident: they are sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality (total irresponsibility, lack of self-control), idolatry, sorcery, hostility, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions [that promote heresies], envy, drunkenness, riotous behavior, and other things like these. I warn you beforehand, just as I did previously, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.” (Galatians 5:19-21 AMP)
In a world that was created “perfect and good,” it is sin that causes everything that is bad… sickness, disease, injury, physical (and spiritual for many) death, the eternal punishment, trials, tribulations, struggles, troubles, tragedies, crimes, and evil of all kinds, etc… things that won’t exist in God’s perfect world in Heaven and things that will never end in Hell.
God judges sin, whether by an invading army, by fire and brimstone, or by a catastrophic global flood. That flood occurred just because mankind was so evil. “The Lord saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.” (Genesis 6:5).
The world had only existed for approximately 1656 years before God completely destroyed every living thing on it, except those on the ark. There were only 8 survivors; Noah, his wife, their three sons and their wives. Not long after the flood waters dried up, sin made its reappearance and it continues to wreak havoc in all corners of this sinful world in the present day.
This does not imply in any way that God is spiteful, ill-tempered or unjust. It simply signifies His hatred for sin and evil, His refusal to compromise with it and His unwillingness to tolerate it.
And in the end, even Satan will receive his rightful punishment.
10 And the devil who had deceived them was hurled into the lake of fire and burning brimstone (sulfur), where the beast (Antichrist) and false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night, forever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)
The Final Judgment
11 And I saw a great white throne and Him (Jesus) who was seated upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them [for this heaven and earth are passing away]. 12 And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books [that is, everything done while on earth]. 13 And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and sentenced, every one according to their deeds. 14 Then death and Hades [the realm of the dead] were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God] (and never-ending punishment). 15 And if anyone’s name (all those who reject Jesus Christ) was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15; emphasis added)
The consequences of sin is death and eternal punishment because of God’s wrath and rightful judgment for every human being ever born. That punishment is never-ending suffering, “weeping and gnashing of teeth,” unspeakable torment, day and night without rest. It is irreversible. Who would choose this fate when Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price through His own death so it would not have to happen?
Good news for the believer who accepts God’s gift of grace… “But Christ dealt with the punishment of sin once and for all on the cross. When you accept God’s free gift of grace through faith in who Jesus is and what He has done, your sins are forgiven and forgotten, just as if they never happened. “As far as the east is from the west, So far has He removed our transgressions from us.” (Psalm 103:12)
Sin is selfishness. Sin is all about you and not about God.
“Get saved and follow Jesus until that day comes.”

The Cosmic War Between Go(o)d and Evil
[Truth 5 of 12; 1 minute read]
The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil defined the two distinct paths that mankind takes, each going in opposite directions, and drew the lines for the cosmic war between good and evil; between God and Satan.
There are only two sides in this epic battle, a winning side and a losing side, each revealed in the book of Revelation. God is the winning side, representing goodness, setting the rules for life and death as only THE God of the Universe could do.
Satan represents the selfishness of all unbelievers who love themselves instead of God. And just to make it clear, all non-believers (those who do not accept Christ as their Savior and confess Him as their Lord), are also the enemies of God.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus taught about the narrow and wide gates. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction (eternal separation from God and punishment in Hell), and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life (salvation and eternity in Heaven) and only few find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14).
It must be understood that because of Adam’s sin we are all born “lost,” separated from God, traveling on the broad road leading to destruction. All of mankind is sentenced to eternal punishment in Hell until they are not, only because they “get saved” from condemnation by accepting His grace through faith in Christ.
Good and evil represent the narrow and broad roads that all people are on, one with the blessings and the other with the curses. Too many fall for the lies of Satan, sin and evil. Sinners continue to be hoodwinked, bamboozled, led astray, run amok and flat out deceived by the enemy of God. (That’s a perfect description of what Satan does to all of us.) But a “few” will overcome him and find the righteousness of God.
Which road are you on? Be one of the few. Seek Him. Tell others about His love.

The Grace Period
[Truth 6 of 12; 3 minute read]
Have you ever wondered, “What is the purpose of my life? What’s the plan? Why am I here? Why is life so short here as compared to eternity? What would be considered the ultimate success in my life? What is the most important decision I can make in this life?”
Everyone has only one life to change their eternal destiny. This is the first purpose of life.
The Truth is that your eternal destination and the punishment that goes with it had already been determined the moment you were born into the curse of Adam’s sin and the only way that can be changed is for you to be “born again” and set free from that penalty of sin, only by God’s grace through the blood of Jesus. The price has already been paid for you through His death and resurrection. There is no work that you can do or have to do to attain this freedom. God Himself paid the ransom for you through His Son. Jesus was your sinless substitute just as God had promised. He took your place on that cross. He died so you wouldn’t have to.
So the first purpose of this short life is for every living person to accept God’s grace through faith in Jesus and be regenerated by the Holy Spirit, transformed through a spiritual rebirth, as a new creation in Christ. Redemption! Salvation!
What Jesus did for you almost 2000 years ago is the one way, the only way by which your eternal destiny can be changed. Sin, not God, sends you to Hell, but the forgiveness of the penalty of sin comes only from God by faith in His Son. Nobody has to go to Hell, but many will because they reject or are ignorant without excuse of what God has done for us through Christ.
And He did this for only one reason. His love for you!
The second purpose of life is called sanctification which begins immediately after justification and is a life long process of growth as a Christian by obedience to God through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the process of working out your salvation every day and becoming more and more like Jesus in everything you think and say and do!
When you become a Christian you change… through your thoughts and actions. Your old sinful self has passed away and behold, you are a new creation in Christ! You simply can’t be the same person you’ve always been after you have been born again.
Our “short” life on Earth is really a “Grace Period,” where God by His “grace” postpones His judgment for as long as He can, “not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” (2 Peter 3:9)
Grace means that because of His love and mercy, God gives you what you need and not what you deserve.
Repentance means to change your mind about sin; to turn away from your sin and toward God. There must be a great sense of urgency for all to come to salvation because we really don’t have much time. Our earthly life is short, like a mist or vapor, and time passes quickly with no time-outs or do-overs. We are not guaranteed another day of life, not another breath, not one more heartbeat and we don’t know the day and time when Christ will return for what will be “the end of the beginning” and the beginning of forever… eternity, somewhere… in only one of two places.
Many spend their entire “Grace Period” trying to get every material thing and earthly pleasure they could ever desire, yet fail to do the one thing, the only thing that they absolutely NEED to do, for their eternal destiny in Heaven.
“For what does it benefit a man (or a woman) to gain the whole world (with all its pleasures) and forfeit his soul (for eternity).” (Mark 8:36 AMP)
Don’t think you have enough time to find Jesus and change your life? How much time do you need?
In 1 day there are 24 hours, 1440 minutes, 86,400 seconds.
In 1 year there are 365.24 days, 52 weeks, 12 months, 8765.82 hours, 525,600 minutes, 31,536,000 seconds.
In 10 years there are 3652.42 days, 521.77 weeks, 120 months, 87,658.2 hours, 5,259,492 minutes, 315,569.520 seconds.
In 70 years there are 25,566.97 days, 3652.43 weeks, 840 months, 613,607.4 hours, 38,816,444 minutes, 2,208,986,640 seconds.
Not enough time is no excuse. What are you waiting for? Christ died for you almost 2000 years ago.
Your salvation must be at the top your to-do list. You should seek it with a great sense of urgency. It’s the most important decision you will ever make in this world.
Don’t live here and leave here without it. Too many people do and they are without excuse or hope.
Accept God’s grace through faith in Christ. Live the rest of your earthly life for the One who died for you. Find ways to tell others the reason for the joy and hope you have and tell them they can have it, too.

There is a Heaven and a Hell and Nothing Else
[Truth 7 of 12; 1 minute read]
The Bible teaches that everyone will spend eternity either in a place where God is or a place where God is not. The place you will spend eternity is determined only by whether or not you have accepted God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Heaven and Hell (also called the lake of fire, the outer darkness. the abyss, the pit) are real, no matter what you to choose to believe or deny. The Truth is what God says it is. If He says it is True, then what everybody else says is false. One thing is for sure, Truth… absolute and indisputable… you (and everyone) will know for sure that there is a Heaven or a Hell immediately when you die…and that day is coming for everyone!
Heaven is God’s perfect eternal place and Hell is the place made for those who rebel against God. Do you know without a doubt that you will go to Heaven when you die? Hell is everybody’s destination without faith in Christ. And eternity is a long time to be wrong.
And when Jesus comes back for His final judgment, everybody who ever lived will know and finally acknowledge the Truth:
“God has highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him [Jesus] the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow [in submission], of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess and openly acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord [sovereign God], to the glory of God the Father.” (Philippians 2:9-11 AMP)

Truth: God Loves “You“
(Personalized just for “you”)
[Truth 8 of 12; 3 minute read]
In the greatest expression of love ever displayed in the history of the world, GOD, THE God, the Uncaused First Cause of the Universe, who is eternal and existed before anything else did, THE one true God and THE only living God clearly showed and proved His love for you, even though you did not deserve His love in any way, by doing what no man or no other “god” could do or would do if he could… God through his Son, Jesus, was tormented and died on the cross so that you by accepting His free, unmerited gift of grace through faith in Christ, would not have to die and be tormented yourself for your own sins.

This is the image of God’s love for you.
God gave His Son to die for you, that is a person (you) who the Apostle Paul described as a sinner, ungodly, powerless and an enemy. (Romans 5:6-10). Who dies for unrighteous man? Only God dies for his enemies. He gave His all for you who deserved nothing. And that is God’s own proof of his love for you.
He is the God of love. He is the definition of love. (1 John 4:7-12). Jesus died on the cross, once for all, to pay the price for your sins and the sins of all mankind. No other god loved sinful man (you) so much that he would die for him (you). No other god was raised from the dead so that whosoever (you) believes in Him could have eternal life.
The nature of God’s character is described in the terms of love. As much as you try, you cannot adequately define the word love in a more powerful way. All love originates from God’s love for you. You can only really love because He first loved you. “God is love, and anyone (you) who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in them (you).” (1 John 4:16, NRSV; emphasis added)
The key to understanding God’s love for you is to know that His love, Christian love which is derived from the Greek word agape, is not so much a matter of emotion as it is of doing things for the benefit of another person, having an unselfish concern for others and the willingness to seek the best for others and putting their interests before your own.
God’s Love and Ours: “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent His one and only Son into the world that we might live through Him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” (1 John 4:7-12)
One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating over who Jesus was. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked Him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” Jesus answered, “The first and most important one is: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul (life), and with all your mind (thought, understanding), and with all your strength (everything you have).’ This is the second: ‘You shall [unselfishly] love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:29-31 AMP)
The first and most important commandment: Love. And we (you) can love… because THE God of the Universe first loved us (you)! (read that over and over). God has made life so simple for us (you)!
What is missing from your (the unbeliever) sin-diseased heart is…. the love of God. Because of sin and separation from God, it’s the one thing that is missing in every human (in you) and as much as you try to fill that void with anything and everything else, nothing except the love of God through his Spirit can give you what you really need. We (you) are looking for love, like the song says, in all the wrong places, in too many wrong faces…
Once you receive His love, you have all that you will ever need.
God created you to know Him, to love Him and to have an eternal relationship with Him. He loves you and He wants you to love Him back. But He won’t mandate it. He won’t make you love Him because that would not be true love. It has to be your idea. You have to choose to love Him because of who He is and what He has done for you through Christ. And God also won’t make you live for eternity in a place where you don’t want to be. Without Him you will always be incomplete and you can continue living without Him if you choose, but it doesn’t end well. Eternity is a long time to be wrong! If God is right, (which He is) then everybody else is wrong. Truth! Don’t be wrong.
The incarnation, death and resurrection of Jesus was for one reason… God’s LOVE for YOU! It is the greatest gift ever given to mankind.
But you have to receive it.

The Bible: The Inspired, Infallible & Authoritative Word of God
[Truth 9 of 12; 1 minute read]
The 66 books of the Bible present an active historic account of the creation of the Universe and all that is in it. Experts agree that it is a true narrative, not poetry and certainly not fiction.
“The the entire Bible is about the Lord Jesus Christ. The Old Testament says He’s coming, the Gospels say He’s here, the book of Acts proclaim Him, the Epistles explain Him and Revelation says He’s coming again.” (from a Steven Lawson sermon)
“All scripture in His Bible are breathed out of God’s mouth and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for the training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete and equipped for every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
When asked by a new Christian where he should begin reading the Bible, the Reverend Billy Graham said, “Begin by reading the Gospel of John, for it tells us of Christ, of the ‘greatest life ever lived,’ and what He has done for us. Next read Acts, for it tells us what His first disciples did in the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Then perhaps the letters of John and the letter to the Philippians. Then you may want to read Romans, which sets forth the great doctrines which Paul taught.” This is great advice and will get you off to a good start, but eventually read it all from cover to cover.
Find time, make time to read God’s word every single day, without fail. You do have time, we all do: Remember? 24 hours, 1444 minutes, 86,400 seconds; all of us, every day. Make it a priority like all the other things you find time to do and make priorities of every day, without fail. Read the Bible and be ‘ye’ “transformed by the renewing of your mind.” (Romans 12:2 KJV) Let God change you from the inside-out with a new way of thinking and then you’ll understand.
Every word of the Bible is Truth. It is infallible. If you don’t believe Genesis 1:1 then you will have a hard time believing John 3:16. It is all connected.
The plain message of the Bible is that God judges sin. God hates sin and will have nothing to do with it. Sin is a serious transgression with great and eternal consequences. Turn from it.
But as much as God hates sin, He loves you more and gave you a way out of the condemnation of Hell because of what He did for you through Jesus Christ on the cross. All you have to do is turn away from sin and toward God by accepting His grace through faith in Christ.

God’s Plan of Redemption
[Truth 10 of 12; 2 minute read]
God’s creation was perfect until the 3rd chapter of Genesis when Adam’s sin made it temporarily imperfect. But His divine wisdom included a plan for the atonement of sin and the redemption of man which would make his world perfect for eternity in Heaven, where only those who accept Jesus Christ by faith will be there.
Even as God announced the punishment of Adam and Eve in the garden, He promised them Jesus. Speaking to Satan, God said: “I will put enmity (mutual and ill will) between you (Satan) and the woman (Eve), and between your offspring (demonic forces & all who follow Satan to help accomplish his will) and hers (Jesus); He (Jesus) will crush your head, and you (Satan) will strike his heel” (Genesis 3:15). And in the end, Satan and all of the enemies of God will be thrown into the lake of fire. Justice.
God’s redemptive plan was already in place. Jesus was not a “plan-B or a back-up plan” because sin did not catch God by surprise. Jesus was chosen to defeat Satan even before sin occurred. He would defeat him through His own death and resurrection.
Death and eternal punishment happens only because you fail to trust God. They are the result of your bad choices and God’s wrath and rightful judgment. Once a person sins, his debt is absolutely not redeemable by anyone or any action except through death. Either each individual pays for himself or someone pays in his place. These are the only acceptable payments. For God’s justice to be served, for sinful man to be forgiven and reconciled with Him, it would take a perfect, sinless human to die for the sins of all. There was no “perfect, sinless human” available.
So in His great mercy, God himself became the “substitute” for man through His Son, Jesus Christ. Redemption is the price paid for your release from sin and its punishment. Jesus exchanged his death for your life. He died in your place so you wouldn’t have to. Redemption was only made possible “through the blood of Jesus” by His death on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins and the cancellation of the penalty for sin. (adapted from Colossians 1:14)

Jesus who knew no sin became sin. This would not have been possible without the incarnation of Christ through the virgin birth. Without the incarnation there would be no perfect, sinless human substitute and man would have to pay the penalty for his own sin.
Thank you Lord Jesus!
The woman’s offspring of whom God spoke of in the garden was Jesus. Mary, God’s chosen mother of Jesus, was overshadowed by the Holy Spirit and the virgin gave birth to the long awaited Messiah, the chosen one, the Son of God.
Jesus was the deity of God in human form, truly God and truly man, who performed a perfect redemption for humankind as only God could do.
The miracle birth of Jesus Christ was the beginning of God restoring what mankind had broken. Mankind is a slow learner and some will learn the hard way for eternity. Jesus bought your freedom through the blood of his redemption and “by his stripes, (you) are healed.”
Christ died for all of us. We should all live for Him.
If you’re not saved, time is of the essence. You are not guaranteed another day of life, not another breath, not one more heartbeat and you don’t know the day and time when Christ will return. You are without excuse.
Pray constantly for your salvation and the salvation of the “others” who are lost. There are many. But, you go first and lead the way for the ones you love to follow. It is the only way you will win in this life and for everlasting life.

The Components of Salvation
[Truth 11 of 12; 5 minute read]
Now, let’s get down to business…
There are approximately 8 billion people in the world today. 85% of these claim a “religion.” The other 15% deny the existence of God altogether. There are over 4300 religions and all believe their religion is the “right” religion. Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism and Islam are the top 4 in numbers. 31% are Christians. 69% are not. Most of that total of 100% are just plain wrong. There are 14 million Jews, God’s first chosen people. Islam which began in the 7th century is the fastest growing religion in the world.
God is not asking you to get into a “religion,” He’s asking you to enter into a relationship with Him called love. It’s a relationship that will set you free. The focus is not on a religion, a denomination, a family tradition or anything else… just His grace through faith in Jesus Christ. That’s first and foremost.
But only one of those 4300+ religions believe that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
Only one God’s divine plan of redemption includes restoring His perfect world for eternity in Heaven by which only those who accept Jesus Christ will enjoy.
Jesus made it perfectly clear when He said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6)
When He said “I am the way”… He was saying He is the ONE way, the ONLY way to salvation. Without Him you remain “lost” and condemned.
When He said “I am the Truth”… He was saying He is the divine incarnate Word of God, the deity of God in human form, truly God and truly man, the source of all Truth which is absolute and indisputable.
And when He said “I am the life”… He was saying He is our Savior, the ONE who freed fallen man from the penalty of sin, death and eternal punishment through His own death and resurrection.
Salvation means freedom from the penalty of God’s wrath and punishment and it “is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.” (Acts 14:6)
And that name is Jesus!
This is the greatest expression of love imaginable. There is no love like it. You were born “lost” and you stay lost until you are “found” in Christ. Nobody is born a Christian. There are not millions of ways to get saved. Works won’t do it. Your family and friends cannot save you and you cannot save them and you certainly cannot save yourself. Salvation comes ONLY by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
God purposed salvation through his divine and perfect plan, Jesus accomplished salvation through His death and resurrection and the Holy Spirit applies salvation in your spiritual rebirth.
Repentance – Faith – Regeneration – Justification – Sanctification – Glorification
Although there is no way we can know for sure, it is generally agreed that whether you are conscious of it or not, in the critical, eternal life changing moment of salvation – repentance, faith, regeneration and justification, all happen at the same time and one is not possible without the others and none are possible without the working of the The Holy Spirit, God’s agent for salvation. Don’t be confused or worry about the specifics and the order in which they come, because it’s God who handles it all through His Spirit and all you have to do is just be receptive to His free gift.
Through God’s grace, the Holy Spirit draws you (and other sinners) to Himself, unblinds your eyes, “tugs on” and softens your hardened heart, opens your mind and “convicts you (and all who are lost) about the guilt of sin, the punishment for it, your need for a Savior and about righteousness and judgment.” (adapted from John 16:8) God releases you from the bondage of your sin and enables you to come to Christ through genuine repentance and saving faith, but with no guarantee that all sinners will actually do it. That’s their loss.
God allows you to finally see that you are dead in your sin and the eternal punishment you will receive without a Savior. He won’t make you accept His grace. It has to be a personal decision and there is only one decision to make. Not accepting Christ is exactly the same as rejecting Him.
By repenting and accepting God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ, you will be “born again,” regenerated, where you are completely transformed through a spiritual rebirth, making you complete and whole with Christ for the first time and for all time. The old sinful self is gone, “behold everything new.” The new self no longer you, but Christ who lives in you. (adapted from Galatians 2:20)
When you are born again, you are completely changed from the inside-out for all to see. And that change occurs because God has sent you a helper. “Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 ESV)
Never under-estimate the power of The Holy Spirit because He is God Himself. Wherever you go and whatever you do, whether good or bad, righteous or sinful, God is right there with you through His Spirit. Think about that.
Repentance
[1 minute read]
Repentance and faith work hand in hand. You cannot have genuine repentance without saving faith or have saving faith without genuine repentance.
The act of repentance is not just to be sorry that you have sinned, it means intentionally choosing to turn away from the sinful ways of your life and turning toward a righteous relationship with the one true, living God.
You have to want repentance, with all of our heart, to be “saved.”
Without “genuine” repentance you will continue to live in sin and remain separated from God who hates sin and cannot be around it.
“Godly sorrow brings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but worldly sorrow brings death.” (2 Corinthians 7:10 NIV)
Your willpower is at the very heart of repentance. There must be a dogged determination to forsake sin, to change your mind, thoughts and attitudes toward sin. It is requires a total surrender. You simply cannot claim to be a Christian and still live just any way you want to. If you do so, you might need to question your salvation. A 180 degree change is required. You cannot mock God.
And repentance is not just a one time thing you do to “get saved.” There must be a continual state of awareness and repentance. Be diligent and repent and seek forgiveness on the spot as sin occurs and turn from it immediately.
Faith
[1 minute read]
“Now faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses].” (Hebrews 11:1 AMP)
Faith is essential. It is a choice which only you can make when the Spirit tugs at your heart. “You decide to follow Jesus” and the action of your faith is your belief, trust and complete confidence in who God is and what He has done for you through Jesus Christ. Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins and God raised Him from the dead to give you eternal life. You don’t have to know everything about everything, just trust in Him with the details. That’s what faith is.
Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ.
“So faith comes from hearing the Good News. And people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ.” (Romans 10:17 ERV). Faith requires a knowledge of what God has said through His Word.
But what about those who never heard the Good News or nobody ever told them about Christ?
“Ever since God made the world, He has been showing people clearly about himself. We cannot see God, but the things that He has made show us clearly what He is like. We can understand His great power that continues forever. We can know that He is the true God. So there is no reason for anyone to say, ‘We could not know about God.‘” (Romans 1:20 EASY)
They are without excuse.
Through your faith in Christ, you are making an eternal life changing decision to live for the One who died for you. This is the most important decision of your life which will be forever changed. It must be a heart decision and not just a head decision.
What lies, deceptions and confusion is Satan and other enemies of God using to keep you from turning to Christ? Pay no attention to all the enemies. It won’t finish well for them.
“And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life (the names of all who are saved), he was hurled into the lake of fire.” (Revelation 20:15) Only the names of those who are saved are in the book of life. When you accept Christ as your Savior and receive Him as the Lord of your life, you are no longer the enemy of God, but “saved,” a Christian and a Child of God.
Regeneration
Jesus answered Nicodemus, “I assure you and most solemnly say to you, unless a person is born again [reborn from above—regenerated, spiritually transformed, a spiritual rebirth, renewed, sanctified], he cannot [ever] see and experience the kingdom of God.” (John 3:3 AMP)
When you are born again you are transformed into a new creation in Christ. It is no longer you who lives, but Christ who lives in you. You are made righteous and acceptable in God’s sight, justified by faith in Christ, with a new heart filled with the Holy Spirit. This is baptism through the Holy Spirit.
The human heart is more than just a pump. The Bible considers the heart to be the hub of human personality, producing the things we would ordinarily say belong to the subconscious mind, such as attitudes, emotions, and character. When you are born again, the Holy Spirit does not just fill a “God-shaped hole (void or vacuum) in your sin-diseased heart, but the old heart is discarded and replaced with a brand new heart.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” (Proverbs 4:23)
Not only are you a new creation with a new heart, you also have a new way of thinking. Your thoughts are now either Christ-like or they’re not, easy to filter and easy to choose which thoughts to act on and which ones to dismiss. You have a new way of acting and reacting; behavior. Acting is what you choose to say and do and reacting is what you choose to say and do in response to someone or something. Christ-like and Godly behavior in words and deeds is the model for you as a new creation in Christ.
You also have a new attitude toward sin and learn to hate it as much as God does. You have a new attitude about obeying God and a new attitude about the world you live in. You are still “in” this world, but you are no longer “of” this world. There are now things that you will do and things that you simply will not do just because you are a Christian. To be a true Christian you have to live like one. This new attitude shapes and defines the content of your new “Christ-like” character which reveals your new and true identity, where you are no longer defined by who you are, but by whose you are in Jesus Christ. This is the “new” you; no longer that person living without Christ, but now with Spirit of Christ living in you. Your identity is now complete and the Holy Spirit is with you every step of the way.
It must be noted that as a Christian you must rely on the power of the Holy Spirit to help you avoid sin and turn from it. The devil and his henchmen are still lurking with those same lies, deceptions and confusion, working overtime to turn you away from God. And even though you are no longer living under the penalty of sin, the power of sin still exists because you are still living in your human body, the flesh. But all sin, past, present and future, has been forgiven and forgotten because of what Christ has done for you on the cross and that should always be your focus.
Now when you sin, it is simply because you choose to, because you give into it, because you fall for the lies and deceptions again, ignoring or quenching (stifling, suppressing or ignoring) the Holy Spirit as He convicts you to avoid it or turn from it. And when you do choose to sin, it is you, the born again believer, who is turning your back on the Holy Spirit and your commitment to Christ; it’s never the other way around.
Quick and true repentance, again, is a must. It’s on-going; never ending, until God calls you to Glory.
And you also have a new way of living your earthly life, a new way of walking and a new way of talking. But most importantly, you have the promise of eternal life in God’s perfect world in Heaven where only those who accept God’s grace through faith in Christ will enjoy forever and this promise is sealed by the Holy Spirit.
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade.” (1 Peter 1:3-4 NIV)
Justification
Justification is a term which explains your right, legal standing before God. After the Holy Spirit has made you new in Christ and you have responded in faith, you are legally forgiven before God, once and forever. It comes only by God’s grace through your faith in Jesus Christ.
The essence of Justification is the legal transaction where Christ pays for the penalty for your sins and God the Father declares you free and righteous. It is your position in Christ, your legal standing with God; not guilty, free, no longer an enemy, right and whole with Him. You have all the riches of God’s grace, all you need and nothing you deserve. God did it all.
Sanctification
Salvation is the beginning of the new life for the Christian. Sanctification follows and is the life-long process of growing as a Christian by obedience to God through the power of the Holy Spirit. It is the process of becoming more like Jesus every day, until God calls you home.
Progress in sanctification is evidence and assurance of your faith in who Jesus is and what He has done and that you have been “born again” as a new creation in Christ.
Paul said it this way: “Continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose,” that is, cultivate your salvation, bring it to full effect, actively pursue Christ-likeness and spiritual maturity. Use serious caution and critical self-evaluation to avoid anything that might offend God or discredit the name of Christ. (Philippians 2:12–13 AMP; emphasis added)
You work out what He works in you. Faith in Christ produces good works. Works are the actions, what you say and do and how you say it and do it, as you live out how He’s made you new and alive in Christ. You simply cannot continue to live the same way after you’ve been “born again.” The change is for all to see. It’s either Christ-like or it’s not; it pleases God or it doesn’t. This is sanctification. It’s an ongoing process where you get a little better each day.
But, “God’s divine power has given us everything we need for a Godly life through our knowledge of Him who called us by his own glory and goodness. Through these He has given us His very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by your evil desires.” (2 Peter 1:3-4)
If all these things are in you and growing, you will never fail to be useful to God. You will produce the kind of fruit (actions) that should come from your knowledge of your Lord Jesus Christ and your faith in Him:
Fruitful Growth in Faith for the Christian
“Because of all your blessings, “be diligent” and make every effort to add these things to your life: to your faith (belief, trust and complete confidence in Christ) add goodness (moral excellence, the nature of God); to your goodness add knowledge (reading God’s word every day, without exception); to your knowledge add self-control (discipline, doing things the way the are supposed to be done); to your self-control add patience (a good attitude when waiting; steadfast and calm despite opposition, difficulty, adversity or inconvenience); to your patience add devotion to God (Godliness; Christ-like character reflected in your actions… what you say and do); to your devotion add kindness (friendly and forgiving) toward your brothers and sisters in Christ, and to this kindness add love (Love means that someone is very important to you, a very high priority, which is expressed in how you treat them and what you do for them; serving God and others by putting their interests before your own interests).” (adapted from 2 Peter 1:3-10 ERV with notes added)
Commit this to memory: To your faith add goodness; to your goodness add knowledge; to your knowledge add self-control; to your self-control add patience; to your patience add devotion to God; to you devotion to God add kindness and to this kindness add love.
“God called you and chose you to be His. Do your best to live in a way that shows you really are God’s called and chosen people. If you do all this, you will never fall.” (2 Peter 1:10)
Also as part of the sanctification process, the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live a life that reflects the content of the character of Jesus Christ. This includes producing spiritual fruit, such as love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. (Galatians 5:22-23) Christlikeness. (Commit the fruit to memory and live it out),
Here are some simple definitions of “the fruit.”
Love– Love means that someone is very important to you, a very high priority, which is expressed in how you treat them and what you do for them; serving God and others by putting their interests before your own is a major expression of love.
Joy– Ongoing happiness that flows from your heart and is not determined by ever- changing external circumstances.
Peace– Free from internal and external distress; anxiety, fear, doubt, pressure, for example.
Patience– Steadfast and calm despite opposition, difficulty, adversity or inconvenience; a good attitude when waiting.
Kindness– Friendly and forgiving toward your brothers and sisters in Christ.
Goodness– Moral excellence; the nature of God.
Faithfulness– The act of being true to your word and commitments, as to what you have promised to be and do.
Gentleness– A mild, kind, or tender temperament.
Self-Control– Discipline. Doing things the way they are supposed to be done; self-restraint.
Be able to give a simple definition of each and then live them out daily, calling on a specific fruit the is useful in any particular situation.
“Do everything without complaining or questioning the providence of God, so that you may prove yourselves to be blameless and without deception, innocent and uncontaminated, children of God without blemish in the midst of a morally crooked and spiritually perverted generation, among whom you are seen as bright lights in the world of darkness, holding out and offering to everyone the word of life.” (adapted from Philippians 2:14-16 AMP).
In everything you say and do, let others see Christ in you and always be ready to give an answer to everyone who asks you to explain about your new attitude and how you have changed and the hope you have, but answer them with gentleness and respect, just as Christ would do. (Adapted from 1 Peter 3:16)
“And never be ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to you and everyone who believes in Christ as Savior and Lord.” (Adapted from Romans 1:16)
Glorification
Glorification is the instantaneous transformation of the believers in Christ by the power of God from this world into a perfectly moral and physical being eternally living in God’s presence in Heaven.
It happens when you are resurrected in your new body and will last forever. All of the effects of sin will be erased and you will be wholly sanctified and no longer sin or even want to sin. You and everyone will be as loving, true, faithful, kind, good and pure as Jesus himself.
You’ll find out everything about Heaven when you arrive. Make that arrival in Heaven a top priority in your earthly life. It is in essence, the purpose of your life in the Grace Period on Earth.
And because you were one of “the few” who took the narrow road to the small gate that led to life and chose to have faith in Him who made eternal life possible for you, on that day, Jesus will say to you,
“Well done, good and faithful servant… come share in the joy of your master.” (adapted from Matthew 25:23)

Truth: Judgment
[Truth 12 of 12: 1 minute read]
Jesus is coming back one day for a final judgment of mankind. Only God knows the day and the hour.
And all who ever lived will be judged by one standard:
Are you saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ?
The Bible tells us that before the beginning of time, the names of those who would “be saved” were written in the Book of Life “and anyone’s name not found written in the book will be hurled into the lake of fire.” [where they will be tormented day and night without rest, forever and ever.]; just like Satan, the Anti-Christ (Beast) and the False Prophet. (Revelation 20:10,15 AMP; emphasis added)
Forever and ever is a long, long time to be wrong!
Let’s use Revelation 20:15 and personalize it. As you read this, put your first name in the blank and let that sink it:
And if ___________________’s name is not found written in the Book of Life, he/she will be hurled into the lake of fire... (the second death, the final judgment; forever and ever, irreversible; and there is no excuse for that to happen).
Matthew (3:11-12) writes about God with His winnowing fork in His hand, and how He will thoroughly clear out His threshing floor; “and He will gather His wheat (believers) into His barn (His kingdom), but He will burn up the chaff (the unrepentant) with unquenchable fire.”
The only way to escape condemnation and the “lake of fire” is through faith in Jesus Christ.
Do you have authentic, saving faith in Jesus? If yes, glory to God! Live out your faith and grow in Godliness and Christ-likeness each day in everything you think, say and do. Let others see Christ in you. Share your faith both in person and through this app.
If you don’t have this faith in Christ, you can accept and receive Him right now wherever you are. Today is the day of salvation; the Holy Spirit is available any time and any place, so that “whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13 KJV)
“Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened.“ Matthew 7:7-8 AMP
“What father among you, if his son asks for a fish, will give him a snake instead of a fish? Or if he asks for an egg, will give him a scorpion? If you, then, being evil [that is, sinful by nature], know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask and continue to ask Him!” (Luke 11:13-15 AMP)- The Parable of Persistence)
Be persistent! Keep asking! Keep seeking! Keep knocking! Keep pleading!
Do not live here and leave here without a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as your Savior and Lord of your life!
The Eternal Life Changing Question
Let’s return to the theme of the The Gospel Truth App and ask and answer the single most important question that affects not only your life here on Earth, but your eternal life destination as well…
Are you saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ?
Have you been set free from the penalty of sin (salvation) by God’s free and undeserved favor, where He gives you what you need instead of what you deserve (grace) through belief, trust and complete confidence (faith) that Jesus Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins and was raised from the dead so that you would be made righteous with God and granted eternal life in Heaven?
Yes? No?
Getting Saved
Getting saved is the process of instantly going from who you were to whose you are in Jesus Christ; from the dead to the living, from lost to found, to be made alive in Christ!
“And you, who God made alive when you were spiritually dead and separated from Him because of your sins in which you once walked where you were following the ways of this world, in accordance with Satan, the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who is now at work in the disobedient and unbelieving, who fight against the purposes of God.” (Ephesians 2: 1-2 AMP)
Q&A: Why is the name of Jesus so threatening to so many in our world? Why are so many people disobedient and unbelieving? It’s because of the the ongoing and never ending lies, deceptions and confusion that Satan and his demons, including real people all around us, implant in human minds and hearts every moment of every day. It is relentless and so dark, they can’t “see the light.” Be aware of the lies, seek the Truth and find the light.
“Among these unbelievers we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, our behavior governed by the sinful self, indulging the desires of human nature, without the Holy Spirit and the impulses of the sinful mind. We were, by nature, children under the sentence of God’s wrath, just like the rest of mankind.
But God, being so very rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us, even when we were spiritually dead and separated from Him because of our sins, He made us spiritually alive together with Christ for by His grace—His undeserved favor and mercy—you have been saved from God’s judgment.“ (Ephesians 2:3-5 AMP; emphasis added)
“For it is by the grace of God drawing you to Christ, that you have been saved, delivered from judgment and given eternal life only through faith in Christ. And this salvation is not through your own efforts, but it is the undeserved and gracious gift of God because of His love for you.” (Ephesians 2:8; adapted)
Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins and God raised Him from the dead so you could have eternal life.
This is the Gospel Truth, the Good News of Jesus Christ and it is THE absolute and indisputable Truth that will set you free.
Jesus is the way and the Truth and the life and no one comes to the father except through Him. Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.
In Luke 13:24, Jesus said: “Strive to enter through the narrow door. For many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able to.” Jesus is talking about entering the Kingdom of Heaven and He is that “door” and the only way you can enter His Kingdom is through Him. One day, soon and very soon, that door will be shut where no one else can enter. Don’t get shut out.
“Therefore, be prepared and ready, for you do not know the day nor the hour when the Son of Man will come.” (Matthew 25:13 AMP; adapted)
He’s coming! Anticipate His return! Live like He’s coming back today! Be prepared and ready! Accept Jesus as your Savior and receive Him as the Lord of your life! Your eternal destiny depends on it! Choose today to live for the One who died for you!
What Must You Believe to Be Saved?
“So faith comes from hearing the Good News. And people hear the Good News when someone tells them about Christ.” (Romans 10:17 ERV) You read what God says, you let others teach it to you, and it get’s in your eyes and gets in your ears and then gets in your mind and one day you wake up and it’s in your heart. That’s where faith comes from. Either the Holy Spirit seeks you just like He did with Saul on the road to Damascus, for example, when Saul was not seeking Him or you get in the Word and earnestly seek Him. That’s how you get saved and it does not happen accept through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Where you fill your mind and heart with the Word of God and express your faith in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit transforms you into a spiritual rebirth, born again as a new creation in Christ and it is no longer you who live, but Christ who lives in you by His spirit.
When you are saved, you are longer the same. All the old sin stuff and foolishness has passed away. You cannot be truly saved and continue acting the same way your were.
Confess to God that your are a sinner, that you are dead in your sin… and that you repent of your sins, you don’t want to live in sin anymore and you don’t want to be separated from His glory for eternity. And than… forgive me of my sins, fill me with your Holy Spirit, and deliver me the darkness that is all around me.
This is another one of those “most important questions” that could ever be asked?
First of all, you don’t have to know everything about everything to be saved. Thank God. All that knowledge and wisdom will come to you with the help of the Holy Spirit during your sanctification process where you will continually grow as a Christian into spiritual maturity, Godliness and Christ-like character for the rest of your time on earth. But there are some things that you must know and believe.
Paul says, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)
And you know that you can only be saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ… grace that you earnestly need, but don’t deserve in any way and faith… the belief, trust and complete confidence in what Christ did for you.
You must believe in the only God who makes salvation possible. You must believe in who God is and believe what He has done for you through Jesus Christ.
God is the Creator of the Universe and everything in it. He is the one true, sovereign God and the only living God. He is one God in three distinct persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit who each perform vital roles in your salvation and sanctification. The Holy Spirit is God just like the Father and the Son are God.
Your salvation was purposed by the divine and perfect plan of the one true God, was accomplished by His Son Jesus Christ through His death and resurrection and is applied by His Holy Spirit who transforms you through a spiritual rebirth into a new creation in Christ, all earthly and eternal life changing events.
God created a perfect world until it became temporarily imperfect because of sin and one day His world will be perfect again for eternity and only those who put their faith and trust in Christ will live in that perfect place.
So you must believe because of His love and in His great mercy, God himself became your “substitute” through His Son, Jesus Christ who paid for your release from the penalty of sin and its punishment. Jesus exchanged his death for your life. He died in your place so you wouldn’t have to. Redemption was made possible only “through the blood of Jesus” by His death on the cross for the forgiveness of your sins and the cancellation of the penalty for those sins and made you acceptable to God and His righteousness. And God raised Jesus from the dead so that you would be granted eternal life.
It is only by His grace where God, because of His love for you, gave you what you needed and not what you deserved. And He does it only through your faith in Jesus Christ. Faith is the belief, trust and complete confidence of what God did for you through Jesus Christ.
Who God is and what He has done through Jesus Christ
You must believe in the only God who makes salvation possible, that He is the Creator of the Universe, the one true sovereign God and the only living God who makes the rules and sets the standards for His world with the expectations that all humans who live on the earth trust Him, love Him and live for Him; a righteous standard that we all fail to meet because of sin. You must believe that God send Jesus Christ to pay the ransom for your sin. He did it because He loved you and by His grace where He gave you what you needed instead of giving you what you deserved.
Jesus was the only person ever born without the blood of Adam, breaking the curse of sin and making his death the perfect sacrifice to make you right with God. It was only through his incarnation……… God himself could pay the ransom…. no human could do it. ]
The deity of Jesus. The virgin birth. The incarnation. The perfect, sinless life. He who had no sin became sin. Through His blood. By His stripes. God raised Him from the dead so that we could receive eternal life. Nothing can save us from the penalty of death and eternal punishment except faith, the belief, trust and complete confidence in Jesus Christ, the Messiah.
What God has done for us through Jesus Christ. Christ became our substitute
You must believe that you are a sinner and fall short every day of God’s standard of righteousness and His glory. Because of the curse of sin you were born separated from God and without salvation, the penalty of sin is physical and spiritual death and eternal punishment in Hell. The Bible tells us that those who reject Christ will be thrown into the lake of fire (one of the name of Hell) where they will be tormented day and night, without rest, forever and ever. God’s wrath and rightful judgment.
You must believe that payment for salvation was accomplished by Jesus through His death and resurrection. The Bible says that God will pay the ransom
God-
You-
Jesus- death and resurrection. Born of the virgin Mary. Lived a perfect, sinless life. He did it willfully. He was the substitute for man. He paid the ransom. through His blood and by His stripes. He died so you wouldn’t have to. He died for your sins. The only way to salvation. Faith in Christ. Sins are forgiven, past, present and future. As far as the east is from the west. He defeated death through His resurrection granting you eternal life in Heaven.
The Plea…
There are people reading this on the app right now who don’t know Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord and can only expect condemnation, God’s rightful judgment when this life is over. No one escapes that judgment and the punishment that goes with it except through faith in Christ. It is only by God’s grace through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ that the penalty of your sins are forgiven and granted eternal life.
There are people reading this who are not trusting Jesus Christ and therefore can only expect condemnation, God’s rightful judgment when this life is over. So I’m just going to plead with you here at the end: Lay down that rebellion. Lay it down and simply embrace the gospel: Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Righteous One, died for your sins. On the third day He walked out of that tomb, triumphant over all his enemies. He reigns until he puts all of his enemies under his feet when he comes again for His final judgment.
Forgiveness and a right standing with God come freely through Him by faith in Christ alone. There is simply no solution for the human problem of sin and death outside the grace of God and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. By His grace, God gives you what you need and not what you deserve.
I plead with you… Don’t try to be strong in your own strength. It will fail you. It will not be there when you need it. Only one strength will be there: the strength that God gives according to the gospel, the Good News of Jesus Christ. Eternity is a long, long time to be wrong.
(adapted from the words of R.C. Sproul; emphasis added)
What is the most important question that can ever be asked?
“What must I believe to be saved?”
Taking Action
The Holy Spirit is God’s agent who applies salvation to the lost.
Redemption, faith, regeneration.
The first step is to realize that you are a sinner and the punishment that is due for those sins.
Forgive me from my sins, fill me with your Holy Spirit, deliver me from the darkness of this evil world, change my life. Your desire to be born again, a new creation in Christ through His Holy Spirit. Change my heart.
You are either for me or against me. As creations of the Creator, we don’t get to make the rules; we simply have to decide whether we are for Him or against Him.
Accept God’s gift of grace though belief
Willpower and dogged determination to turn from your sins. Repenting on demand. Renew commitment daily.
Jesus is Lord. He is my God. Love Him. Trust Him. Obey Him. Live for Him.
Believe, trust, complete confidence that…..
Jesus is the incarnate Son of God, truly God and truly human, who was born of the virgin Mary, lived a perfect, sinless life and died on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins and on the third day, God raised him from the dead so that I might have the righteousness of God and be granted eternal life in Heaven.
Let other’s see and hear Christ in you.
More Christlike in everything you think, say and do.
Think, say, do, be. How you think, what you say and what you do is who you become. A Christian must think like Christians should think, say things in a way that Christians would say them and do things that Christians would do. Catch yourself in the act and do a 180.
Good or bad. Either good or bad and can’t be both at the same time and can’t be anything other else other than good or bad or anything that good and bad represent.
What you think, say and do is either “Christ-like or it’s not” and it can’t be Christ-like or not at the same time.
What you think, say and do either “pleases God or it doesn’t” and it can’t please God or not please God at the same time.”
Christ-like or it’s not. It pleases God or it doesn’t.
Get into the word of God through the Bible and/or those this app.
The act of repentance is not just to be sorry that you have sinned, it means intentionally choosing to turn away from the sinful ways of your life that are blocking you from a righteous relationship with the living God.
Accepting Jesus as your Savior and receiving Him as the Lord of your life is the most important decision you will ever make, an eternal life-changing decision. It’s the one thing, the only thing you must do in this world. The ultimate success in this life. Who turns down a free gift. You are lost and bound for hell where you will be punished for your sins, tortured day and night without rest forever and ever. God through His love has given you a way out through what Christ has done. All you have to do is accept it by faith and change your life.
Jesus replied, “I tell you the Truth, unless you are born again [reborn from above—spiritually transformed, renewed, regenerated, sanctified], you cannot see the Kingdom of God.”
What action must you take to be saved?
You have to realize that you are a sinner and are lost for eternity without God’s grace and faith in Christ.
When Christ walked out of that tomb, righteousness was set to the account of every human being. But that righteous does not become yours until you accept it.
Repentance, faith, regeneration.

More Truths…
Jesus’ life isn’t about just saying the salvation prayer. It is about coming into agreement with the Father’s great heart, being fully reconciled with Him, ourselves, and others and receiving His Holy Spirit so we can grow in those relationships. It’s not just a moment in time, it’s a journey of faith.
Does your church teach on the Person and work of the Holy Spirit? Does it teach about the process of repentance which is far more than saying you’re sorry? I challenge you to read the first 4 books of the New Testament and take note of the ideas of repentance, reconciliation, and receiving the Holy Spirit. The gospel is broader, deeper, and far more beautiful than a single prayer!
True saving faith in Christ involves repentance, a turning away from one’s sins, and a daily battle against them in the power of the Holy Spirit.
J.D. Greer puts it this way: It’s not the prayer that saves; it’s the repentance and faith behind the prayer that lays hold of salvation…It makes sense to express these things in a prayer, as repentance and faith in Christ are in themselves a cry to God for salvation. I am not trying to say that the sinner’s prayer is wrong in itself. After all, salvation is essentially a cry for mercy to God: “God, be merciful to me, a sinner” (Luke 18:13). Paul says that those who call on God’s name will be saved.”
You have decided to follow Jesus and your life will never be the same again.
And we know with great confidence that God because of His love for us, causes all things to work together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His plan and purpose. (Romans 8:28)
Receptive to the Holy Spirit. Life begins today.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
A new life powered by God’s Holy Spirit.
Regardless of what you may have heard or believe, there is one true, living, God who created the Heavens and the Earth and makes the rules and sets the standards for His world as only He could do.
How do you know you are saved? The Holy Spirit communicates with your spirit that you are a child of God. The Holy Spirit reveals the Truths to you
Satan and all unbelievers are the enemy of God. Satan uses lies, distractions and confusion to keep you from turning to God.
The first man was given a simple choice to obey or disobey God. Adam make the wrong choice and his disobedience was called sin. Sin is say or doing anything that does not please God.
Because of God’s wrath and rightful judgment for sin, all of Adam’s kin were cursed with separation from God, sin, death and eternal punishment in Hell.
Therefore, we are all sinners, born “lost,” traveling on the broad road which leads to destruction and fall short every day of God’s perfect standard of righteousness.
The penalty for sin is separation from God here and forever, physical and spiritual death and eternal punishment in a place where God will not be where you will be tormented day and night without rest, forever and ever. The penalty of Hell is irreversible after death.
And although everyone is condemned to Hell, God doesn’t send anybody to Hell.
Because of His love for you and all others, God Himself through His Son Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins so you wouldn’t have to. And the on the third day, God raised Him from the dead so ……. and eternal life.
When Jesus walked out of that tomb righteousness was set to the account of every human being who would ever live. But His righteousness does not become yours unless you accept God’s free gift of grace through faith (belief, trust and complete confidence) that Christ died on the cross for the forgiveness of your sin and He was raised from the dead so you could have eternal life in Heaven.
So, there’s no need to be mad at God. He has not sent one soul to Hell. What He did do was be tortured and died for something He did not do so that you would not have to die and be tortured. He was a perfect, sinless substitute for the sin of man. He would had no sin became sin so that you might live.
All you have to do is accept God’s gift of grace and that eternal life changing decision is all yours to make.
There is Heaven and Hell and no other place.
Everyone is born “lost” and going to Hell.
The way to salvation is only by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:28
You cannot save yourself, no matter what you do and nobody can either; only by God’s grace through faith in Christ.
Men and women everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God.
We are all born lost, separated from God with no relationship with Him. A relationship with God comes only through the Son. Jesus intercedes to God on our behalf. He is our “advocate.” We pray to God… in the name of Jesus.
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God revealing the love of God to the world.
The law was kept perfectly by Christ. All all its penalties against God’s sinful people were poured out on Christ. The law is not the path to righteousness; Christ is.
The ultimate goal of the law is that we would look to Christ, not law-keeping, for our righteousness.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Romans 10:4
I know that there are people reading this who are not trusting Jesus Christ, and therefore can only expect condemnation. So I’m just going to plead with you here at the end: Lay down that rebellion. Lay it down. And simply embrace the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Righteous One, died for you sins. He was raised on the third day, triumphant over all his enemies. He reigns until he puts all of his enemies under his feet when he comes again His final judgment.
Forgiveness and a right standing with God come freely through Him by faith alone.
I plead with you: Don’t try to be strong in your own strength. It will not be there when you need it. Only one strength will be there: the strength that God gives according to the gospel. (R.C. Sproul)
The book of life.
The Final Judgment (Revelation 20:11-15 AMP; The Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ: AD 94 to 98; John)
“And I saw a great white throne and Him who was seated upon it, from whose presence earth and heaven fled away, and no place was found for them [for this heaven and earth are passing away]. And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the Book of Life; and the dead were judged according to what they had done as written in the books [that is, everything done while on earth]. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, and death and Hades (the realm of the dead) surrendered the dead who were in them; and they were judged and sentenced, every one according to their deeds. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire [the eternal separation from God]. And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was hurled into the lake of fire.”
Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God slain from before the foundation of the world, wrote the name of every person who will ever live in his Book of Life. He wrote your name in that book. Will you choose for it to be sealed for eternity or permanently blotted out? If you receive him as your personal savior by faith in his finished work at the cross to pay for the penalty of your sins, your name will be eternally sealed in that book and cannot be ever blotted out. But if you reject so great a sacrifice, your name will be permanently blotted out of that book and you will be hurled into the lake of fire. Which will it be for you?
The essential of all the essentials.
The most important decision you will ever make.
It is the ultimate success in this life which then lasts forever.
You only have one decision to make in this life.
What kind of ignorant, selfish pride would convince a person not to accept God’s gift just because He doesn’t believe it to be true.
You WILL eventually know the truth and at that time is will be the truth that WOULD have set you free.
Don’t live here and leave here without it.
If you are not a believer, you will not see you family and friends who have died and gone to Heaven. And they won’t see you.
God rightful justice is eternal separation from God in a place where He will not be where you will be tormented day and night, without rest forever and ever. Hell is real and the sentence is irreversible.
The penalty for sin is separation from God, physical death, and eternal punishment.
You don’t have a relationship with God until you accept Christ. Our relationship with God is only through Christ who is our advocate.
I realized that I was a lost sinner going to Hell.
Are you so strong in your beliefs that you are willing to tormented day and night forever and ever without rest for those beliefs?
God’s rightful justice is eternal separation from God in a place where He will not be where you will be tormented day and night, without rest forever and ever. Hell is real and the sentence is irreversible.
