The Broad and Narrow Way

Jesus teaches that every person must choose between two paths.

The wide gate and broad road are easy to follow because they allow people to live according to their own desires, but they lead to destruction.

The narrow gate and difficult road require repentance, faith, and following Jesus Christ, and they lead to eternal life.

Although many choose the broad road only a few find the narrow way because it demands genuine repentance, turning from sin and trusting God.

Jesus calls every person to carefully consider which path they are on, because the destination of each road is eternal and unchangeable.

Many people traveling on the broad road may dispute God’s absolute, unchanging and indisputable truth but God Himself, by His very nature, declares it so.

He doesn’t merely speak truth [to sanctify you; to set you apart for His purposes, to perfect you and make you holy]; His Word is TRUTH. (John 17:17); emphasis added.
