This is the Good News of Jesus Christ

The one true and only living Creator God proves His love for you in this: nearly 2,000 years before you were even born—yet already cursed with sin and condemned to death and eternal punishment for that sin— God Himself, through His Son Jesus Christ, did what only He could do— He became the sinless human substitute that God’s justice required— the perfect Lamb who willfully suffered, bled, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sins and restore the broken relationship between God and humanity.

And on the third day, God raised Jesus from the dead. He walked out of the tomb in a victorious resurrection, conquering sin, death, Satan and all the powers of darkness and granting eternal life to all who believe.

This is the response that the Holy Spirit will lead you to:

You must genuinely repent of your sins and put your faith and trust in Jesus Christ alone as your Lord, Savior and Master. When you do, God forgives your sin, declares you righteous through the righteousness of Jesus, gives you new life by His Holy Spirit, and promises you eternal life with Him forever, on earth and in heaven.

These are the facts of the true gospel of Jesus Christ you must believe in your heart in order to be saved.

This Is the Good News of Jesus Christ

God’s Love Proven Before We Were Born

The one true and only living Creator God proved His love for you long before you were born—while you were already sinful, condemned, and deserving of death and eternal punishment.

  • Genesis 1:1“In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”
  • Isaiah 45:5“I am the LORD, and there is no other.”
  • Romans 3:23“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
  • Romans 6:23“For the wages of sin is death…”
  • Ephesians 2:1–3“You were dead in the trespasses and sins… by nature children of wrath.”
  • Romans 5:8“But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

God Did What Only God Could Do

God Himself, through His Son Jesus Christ, did what only He could do—He became the sinless human substitute God’s justice required.

  • John 1:1, 14“The Word was God… and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.”
  • Philippians 2:6–8“Though He was in the form of God… He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death.”
  • Hebrews 2:14–17“He Himself likewise partook of the same things… to make propitiation for the sins of the people.”

The Perfect Lamb

Jesus is the perfect, sinless Lamb who willingly suffered, bled, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for sin and restore the broken relationship between God and humanity.

  • John 1:29“Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
  • 1 Peter 1:18–19“…with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.”

  • 2 Corinthians 5:21“For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin.”
  • Colossians 1:20“…making peace by the blood of His cross.”

The Resurrection: Total Victory

On the third day, God raised Jesus from the dead—victorious over sin, death, Satan, and the powers of darkness.

  • 1 Corinthians 15:3–4“Christ died for our sins… He was buried… He was raised on the third day.”
  • Acts 2:24“God raised Him up, loosing the pangs of death.”
  • Colossians 2:13–15“He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame.”
  • Hebrews 2:14“That through death He might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil.”

Eternal Life Granted to All Who Believe

  • John 3:16“Whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.”
  • Romans 4:25“Who was delivered up for our trespasses and raised for our justification.”
