The Gospel Truth App is a unique — and yes, God-inspired — way for Christians to share the absolute, unchanging, and indisputable TRUTH of the Good News of Jesus Christ through everyone’s most personal channel: their mobile phone. Everybody has one, and they use it religiously… so to speak, both day and night.
We are building a massive digital evangelism team — Christians sharing the app peer-to-peer with both believers and non-believers they know. Each of us has family and close friends who need to hear the Good News.
New Christians who joined the app as non-believers, but got saved along the way, do the same. When we share the app, we are sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ and vice-versa, and we trust the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do… save souls. And as long as people keep sharing the Truth, the sharing never ends.
The Biblical Foundation for the App
This ministry is based on Philippians 1:18, paraphrasing the Apostle Paul who said:
“The most important thing is that in every way… Christ is proclaimed.”
Paul wrote these words from prison, acknowledging that some were preaching Christ from pure motives, while others were driven by rivalry or selfish ambition. Yet, regardless of their motives, Paul rejoiced that Christ was being proclaimed. His priority was not personal recognition, but that the message of Jesus was spreading.
In short, the ultimate goal is that Christ is made known — even if circumstances or motives aren’t perfect.
We believe that sharing the Gospel with a mobile app is one of those “every ways” to proclaim Christ.
The Technology
We are using a Progressive Web App (PWA) setup.
Instead of downloading through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the app is accessed instantly through a direct link (URL), https://thegospeltruthapp.com, in a mobile browser (like Safari or Chrome). From there, the user can “Add to Home Screen”, which saves the app’s icon on their phone like a native app.
A PWA behaves much like a normal app:
- We’re sharing peer-to-peer. No shopping for the app.
- No downloads. Just click on the easy to remember, easy to share direct link.
- It opens full screen immediately (no browser bar).
- It can send push notifications.
- It updates automatically when the web version updates.
The Mission
Our mission is simple: To share the Good News of Jesus Christ and let the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do.
God’s word is purposeful and effective, always fulfilling its intended purpose. (from Isaiah 55: 10-11)
The app itself has no power to save, and neither do we — only the Holy Spirit can apply salvation. But for the message to reach hearts, it must first be heard (or in this case, read). That’s why the app must be shared… with both believers and unbelievers, and shared a lot; exponentially.
It’s peer-to-peer sharing; sharing the app with the people you know, who know you, where there is trust. But you also have the ability to “stelth” the Truth to those who desperately need to hear the Good News. Sadly, everybody knows a lot of people who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior and they must be reached.
One person shares with believers and non-believers they know, who each share with a few more, who each share with a few more and so on and so on. It only takes a click to share. And as long as people keep sharing, the sharing never ends.
It is not meant to replace face-to-face evangelism, but to strengthen it—helping you share the Gospel with boldness, confidence, and to far more people than you could reach one person at a time.
What “Sharing the Good News Exponentially” Means
To share the gospel exponentially is to go beyond simple, one-to-one addition and move into multiplication—where each person who hears and believes also becomes a sharer.
- Addition: One person shares the gospel to one → one person hears.
- Multiplication: One person shares the gospel → that person shares with others → those people share with others → and it keeps multiplying.
- Imagine the multiplication of sharing by text over and over.
This is exactly what happened in the early church: “And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly” (Acts 6:7). More people heard the Word and more people believed.
Planting Seeds Digitally
Sharing the gospel digitally — or in any form — is seed planting. We faithfully scatter the truth of God’s Word through apps, texts, social media, conversations, or written words. But just like in the parable of the sower (Matthew 13), the growth doesn’t come from us. The Holy Spirit is the One who convicts, transforms, and brings the harvest.
➔ Just think about this: When someone opens a text sent by a friend and clicks the on link (thegospeltruthapp.com), the “seed” of the Gospel Truth is automatically and permanently planted in their phone. With one step, they can save the Truth icon to their home screen, where it remains always in view… only when they want it, but especially when they need it.
Anytime—day or night, 24/7/365—they can tap the icon to read, review or share. And from there, we trust the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do: move the gospel from the screen to the heart.
The Power of the Gospel
As someone reads the clear presentation of the gospel message on their app, the Holy Spirit in his own timing, draws them to God (John 6:44), convicts them of sin, and opens their heart to the truth of Jesus Christ. This leads them to turn from sin and place full faith and trust in Jesus — who He is and what He has done (Mark 1:15).
In that very moment:
- God forgives their sins.
- Declares them righteous through Christ.
- Grants eternal life.
- Makes them a new creation in Him (2 Corinthians 5:17).
- Fills them with the Holy Spirit, setting them apart for His purpose.
Salvation is a personal experience between you and the Holy Spirit.
The Call
So we must share the Good News in every way, which includes “planting” The Gospel Truth in phones. Go the Hub. Share the app. Share the message. Trust the Holy Spirit to do the rest.
Your Role
If you know the TRUTH, you are commanded to share it:
“Tell God’s message to people. Always be ready to speak God’s message clearly to people, whether they want to listen to you or not. Warn people when they are doing something wrong. Tell them to stop doing wrong things, and explain to them what they ought to do. But be very patient while you teach them what is true.” (2 Timothy 4:2)

The Heart of It All
Only the Holy Spirit can save and regenerate a soul, but we are commanded to plant the seeds of the Gospel.
If this app helps even one person come to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ—it will be well worth the effort.
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation… to everyone who believes.” – (Romans 1:16)
