Incomplete
There is a specific body language (physiology) that reflects your thoughts and attitudes. It is the look in your eyes, your facial expression, the position of your head and shoulders (head up and shoulders back, chest sticking out, gut sucked in), your posture, muscle tension, gestures and even that high pitched sound and volume of the voice under distress. Every emotion and behavior has a specific body language which describes exactly what’s going on in your life at any particular moment and whether it is a good thing or a bad thing.
The look on the outside reflects what is going-on on the inside. Projecting the body language you wish to project actually creates the mindset to support it (and vice-versa). A radical change in your body language “radically” changes your biochemistry. It does it instantly and without fail.
It is the quick fix for changing your attitudes and emotional states on-demand. There is a body language that projects how you look when you are self-disciplined, very confident, highly motivated and doggedly determined. If you recreate that specific body language on the outside, the mindset (inside) follows. The mindset and body language (just like the mindset and behavior) must always be in harmony.
It works both ways, from the inside-out or the outside-in; if you change the mindset, you change the body language (behavior). If you change the body language, you change the mindset. Again, the outside-in approach is the quickest fix. It’s much easier to change the way the body looks on the outside than it is to quickly talk you way out of a funk when your mind gets cluttered and confused because of lack of success.
Here’s a quick fix. Try it. Turn your headlights (eyes) on high beam and let them glow. Then give yourself “the original facelift” and put a big smile on your face. The mindset will follow. It always does. And it will be reciprocated by (most) others. You’ll be stunned with the results of such a simple task. Do it!
There is a mind and body and a body and mind connection. They work from the inside-out and from the outside-in. What going in on in your head is reflected in the body language.
There is always a specific body language which reflects your attitudes. The face (eyes and expression), the posture (head up and shoulders back, chest sticking out, gut sucked in), the muscle tension, the gestures and even the high pitched sound and volume of the voice under distress. For example: Confidence comes from within (I think I can, I think I can) but has an exterior look. When you are confident, the look on the outside reflects the thoughts producing it. How do you look when you are highly confident and performing well, when you’re killing it, when you’re in the zone? You can create this specific look on the outside and change the way you’re thinking on the inside by using this physiology, the body language. The brain projects the exterior looks like and it also believes what the exterior look projects and follows along with the right mindset. It works both ways. Inside-out and outside-in. But the outside-in is the quick fix. The brain is a piece of fatty meat that does many incredible things autonomically (automatically), thank God, but it also does what you tell it to do. I’ve always called it the brain muscle (it’s not a muscle), but it can happen instantaneously, on-demand. Do it. Use the power. The mind and brain must always be in harmony.

But if you can teach yourself to “look” the part of an athlete in the zone, the brain believes what it sees and follows along and instantly changes the mindset.
Thinking gets in the way most of the time. And feeling “pressure” in a particular moment just means you’re focused on the wrong thing. Do all the thinking beforehand and then shut it off and let the eyes and body react to what they see. We get distracted and hesitate when the mind runs to quickly.
Just “let ‘er rip, tension free, and if it doesn’t work, try it again.
#17.4 – The Body Language. The posture: Stand up straight, shoulders back, suck in that gut. The face: Big bright eyes. Turn your headlights on; the bright lights. Your smile is “the original face lift.” It costs you nothing and you can give it away and others will give it right back. It is your greatest resource, creating reciprocal responses and good will without even saying a single word. The way you walk, the gestures of your hands. The facial expressions; default setting. Reset to default. Project what you want to project. The behavior of the body language connects to the mindset.
#17.5 – Calm demeanor. Great body language. Controlled adrenaline on the inside; throttle it up when energy is needed and idle down when not. Emotions are “energy in motion.” You can never be passive on the inside or the outside when it’s time to perform. “Get your motor running.”
Once you have created the “factory setting” for your attitudes and actions, what those attitudes look like and what you wish for them to project, you can simply just “reset to default” and create any mindset instantaneously by projecting the body language of what you wish to project.
Look of fearlessness and success vs. the look of fear and failure.
They automatically trigger actions, reactions, emotions, and the body language
Body Language There is a specific body language which reflects your attitude and emotional state. It does not lie. The face (eyes and expression), posture (head and shoulders), muscle tension, gestures, even the high pitched sound and volume of the voice under distress. Example: Confidence comes from within (I think I can, I think I can), but has an exterior look. When you are confident, the look on the outside reflects the thoughts producing it. The brain is a piece of fatty meat that does many awesome things autonomically (automatically), thank God, but it also does what you tell it to do. Tell it to “can” and it will seek “can.” Tell it to can’t and it will seek “can.” Like the genie in the bottle, you wish is your brain’s command. I’ve always called it the brain muscle. (it’s not really a muscle). These changes happen instantaneously, on-demand, by your command. Do it. Learn how to harness and use the power of the power.
Reset to default. Project what you want to project. The behavior of the body language connects to the mindset. Change the behavior (from the outside-in) and the mindset follows (inside-out). They must always be in harmony.
The Body Language. Posture. Stand up straight, shoulders back, suck in that gut. The face. Big bright eyes. Turn your headlights on; the bright lights. Your smile is “the original face lift.” It costs you nothing and you can give it away and others will reciprocate and give it right back and to others. The way you walk, the gestures of your hands. The facial expressions; default setting. Reset to default. Project what you want to project. The behavior of the body language connects to the mindset.

Body Language There is a specific body language which reflects your attitude and emotional state at all times. It does not lie. The face (eyes and expression), posture (head and shoulders), muscle tension, gestures, even the high pitched sound and volume of the voice under distress.
For example: Confidence comes from within (I know I can do this), but has an exterior look as well. When you are confident that you can do something, the look on the outside, from head-to-toe reflects the mindset (thoughts/attitudes) which produces that look. How do you look when you are highly confident and performing well, when you’re killing it, when you’re in the zone? If you have been these things even once, you can now create this specific look on the outside and change the way you’re thinking on the inside by using the power this physiology, the body language, and you can do it any time you choose to.
The brain believes what the exterior look projects and it follows along; “as-if” it’s true. It’s the quick fix. The brain is a piece of fatty meat that does many awesome things autonomically (automatically), of which thank God, you have no control over. But in addition to the autonomic miracle work it performs, your brain also does exactly what you tell it to do. Tell it to “can” and it will seek ways to “can.” Tell it to “can’t” and it will seek ways to “can’t.” Those are the only two options. Like with a genie in a bottle, your wish is your brain’s command. I’ve always called it the brain muscle, although it’s not really a muscle, but let’s pretend it is. When you pull the “brain muscle,” you pull all your muscles. A pulled muscle is when the muscle is strained; inflamed, stretched and perhaps even torn. Have you ever felt like your brain has been strained, inflamed, stretched or torn? Of course, you have. But, the brain is pulling, straining, inflaming, stretching or tearing itself. You are causing that to seem like it’s happening by the way you choose to think and process the situations and circumstances you are facing.
These changes happen instantaneously, on-demand, by your command. Do it. Learn how to harness and use the power of the power.
Reset to default. Project what you want to project. The behavior of the body language connects to the mindset.
